Michelle Hodkin [1] once postulated, “An angel sat on one shoulder, a devil on the other. Both of them wore my face.” The crux is metaphorical to the inner struggle either to her MC [2] or herself, had between two 100% opposite philosophies, good and evil.

Today, mankind is listening to the wrong shoulder. The events of today, record a corrupt society, worldwide. Those phenomena are far beyond mankind’s capacity to sin. They are beyond even the sin nature’s capacity. It is all satanic. Satan is making his end time move, although before its time.

We are in the last days of human government. The Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy what we can expect in these days. Does any of this sound familiar?

v1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
v2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
v3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
v4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
v5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
v13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. [2 Timothy 3:1-5, 13]

What can we, as Christians, do to live through these perilous times? Right off the top, we can do the opposite of the people practicing the 19 negative traits of verses 1-5. The Bible says, “… from such turn away.” That sounds like a command to me. The Bible is replete with many other precepts and encouragements for living a holy life.

Because the world is so corrupt, is society listening to the wrong shoulder? Has society become the government’s alpha primitives, or are they going to think for themselves? I think we can add a handful of Christians to that group as well. Even some churches. But I am sure God will take care of them, one way or the other, depending if they repent or no. Most of us are stepping out, but like I say, there are a few stragglers. However, there is time yet, not much, but time. We are the children of the last days and it’s time for all of us to step up and step out. God bless you all, brothers and sisters. Here’s to listening to the right shoulder.

Lord, Jesus, you can do anything. Is there anything beyond your capacity? However, Lord, because of your gift of free will, you will not do anything without our requests and/or petitions. Therefore, Lord, I pray for your supernatural intervention on the world’s behalf and ask for your protection from all the arrows of the enemy. As a child of the most high, I call out the warring angels to thwart the enemy’s plan(s) and reject the wiles of the Devil. In Jesus name, the name that is above every name, I command Satan and his minions to go back to Hell where they belong. We are children of God and you have NO AUTHORITY over us. In Jesus name, AMEN.
