Part Two: Be Humble
According to 2 Chronicles 7:14, four things must happen before God will heal our land. Let me recap the four “musts” for you that need to transpire before the “then” of God’s promise manifests. 1) We must humble ourselves. 2) We must pray. 3) We must seek His face, and 4) We as a nation, must repent. America… no, the world, must repent before God will heal our land. God stands ready to fulfill His promise, but He is waiting for the “if” parts to manifest. Each of us has free will, and therefore, it is up to each of us to manifest the “ifs,” of God’s “then.”
God gave us free will. With love as the supreme ethic, choice would be necessary, and outside of Christ’s propitiatory death on the Cross, choice is the greatest gift given to mankind. For without choice, you render love meaningless. Without choice, we are nothing more than automatons. God’s Word declares, I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live [1]. Proverbs is full of warnings of those who refuse to be humble. The New Testament is full of blessing for those who put others above themselves, which is the prime example of the word humble [2].
v12 Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience… [Colossians 3:12 ESV]
America and the World are circling the bowl. Before the waste of man’s heart [3] disappears down the drain on its way to Hell, God can reverse the flow if… we first humble ourselves. It is time that we partner with God and do our part in the restoration and healing of our land. There must be a hunger for God. These are serious times in which we live, not only in world history, but in biblical history. Remember now, two things must happen before the tribulation: the outpouring of God’s Spirit [4], and the rapture [5]. I believe that the enemy is trying to push things before it’s time [6]. Therefore, it is up to us brothers and sisters to humble ourselves and put others first. Better yet, let’s put God first. His Word says that if we do, He will give us everything else [7].
Our dear gracious heavenly Father and merciful God, we come to you with humble hearts and hearts full of thanksgiving, praise, and worship. You are our only hope. We put our trust in you, Lord. We are nothing without you, for what good is the body without its head? We thank you for the gift of America, the greatest nation in the world. But Lord, we have fallen away and need your love, mercy, and grace as never before. We have full confidence that your will, will be victorious, and we thank you in advance for what you are about to do and release. The enemy will fail in rushing things before their time. Lord, the world has become as Sodom and Gomorrah and your Word tells us that like Lot, your plan of saving us from the worse time in world history, is a parallel event. We will trust in you, and focus on you Lord to deliver us. We will not look back. We thank you for sparing the righteous people through the rapture. In your precious name, AMEN.
Humble yourself before the Lord and He will lift you up [8].
