Happy Birthday Jesus

Hi Gang, Jim here. Merry Christmas to all my readers.

I wanted to do a special blog to honor and celebrate our Savior’s birth. On Christmas Eve day I heard the song “Oh Holy Night” and it had me in tears. When I think of Jesus and what He did for us in His life here on Earth and for what He did for us on the Cross, how can it not bring tears of adoration and love to our eyes. When the song hit the first chorus, I was literally in tears and heading for my knees. Thank you my Lord Jesus for your life and for your death.

With everything that is happening in the world today, I am saddened to what one human being can do to another and the apathy with others who stand by and watch the atrocities happen and do nothing. Lord Jesus, help us. Read the words to this song and see if it doesn’t bring tears to your eyes and all but brings you to your knees. God bless you this day “Come Lord Jesus come.”

O holy night! The stars are brightly shining,
It was the night of the dear Savior’s birth.
Long lay the world in sin and error pining,
Till He appeared and the soul felt its worth.
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.

Chorus 1:
Fall on your knees, O hear the angel voices!
O night divine, O night when Christ was born!
O night divine, O night, O night divine.

Verse 2:
Truly He taught that we should love each other,
His law is love, and His gospel is peace.
Chains shall He break, the slave shall be our brother,
And in His name all oppression shall cease.
Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we,
Let all within us, praise His holy name.

Chorus 2:
Christ is the Lord, Then ever, ever praise we!
His pow’r and glory ever-more proclaim!
His pow’r and glory ever-more proclaim!

Jesus is coming soon and He’s not coming as the Lamb of God. He’s coming as the Lion of Judah. Are you saved? Are you a part of the Kingdom of God? Are you looking for peace, a shelter, and a standard by which to govern your life? Are you tired of wondering through this life with no apparent purpose? Well, I have some good news for you; Jesus Christ loves you and has a purpose for each one of your lives [Jeremiah 29:11 NIV]. What have you got to lose? EVERYTHING! That’s all.

Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah [Psalms 68:19 KJV].

Thanks for your support and readership one and all. I love you all.

Again, MERRY CHRIST-MAS and Happy New Year.
