I love the beach and I go there as often as I can and spend three to four days with the Lord walking on the hard wet sand and writing. I am fairly productive there because I dedicate that time to the Him. It is a place where God anoints me to write and it gives me much peace in my spirit and heart.

In this hustle bustle world many people struggle to find that peace that I talked about just a moment ago. The Bible teaches that real peace can only come from the Lord Jesus Christ. May I offer to you Romans 5:1 which says, Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ [Romans 5:1 KJV].

As I walk on the wet sand and commune with the Lord, there is a peace that comes over me like a warm blanket, and when I finally return to the computer back at the hotel, God blesses me with further communication with Him. I am totally relaxed and productive. God is omnipresent and I guess I do not need to go to the beach to be with Him, but it is where He anoints me. Back home are many interruptions that can disrupt the total peace that I desire when talking with God.

Lord, I thank you for your peace and for taking time out of running a universe, just to spend time with me. That knowledge by itself Lord is a total blessing. Thank you that we have a Savior who will be there for us when we feel a need to dislodge ourselves from the hustle bustle of the city to retreat in you. We are thankful that you are the true peace of God that fills our hearts [Colossians 3:15]. Thank you Lord that you not only meet me at the beach, but you stay there with me and talk to me and give me your heart. Lord God, I love you and worship you and I give you my heart as well. In Jesus precious name, amen.
