About a week and a half ago I was reading the book of Revelation and ran across a single word that all but jumped off the page at me. That word was beheading. In light of current events, it immediately reminded me of James W. Foley who, on August 19, 2014, became the first American casualty of ISIS [1], when they beheaded him. . .on camera. This was an absolute tragic and barbaric crime against humanity [2]. This one word compelled me to research further.

v4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years [Revelation 20:4 KJV].

Nothing divides the body of Christ quicker than the book of Revelation and end time prophesies, but the first thing we have to remember about the book of Revelation is that it is not linear. Revelation 20:4 speaks to the first resurrection after the tribulation and about those who did not worship the beast or take his mark.

DEFINING THE GREEK

Revelation 13:18 addresses the mark of the beast that Revelation 20:4 talks about. So. . .what does 666 mean? You may be surprised.

v18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six [Revelation 13:18 KJV].

Let’s dissect the Scripture in the language in which it was written, Greek. First off, I have learned that the opening phrase “Here is wisdom” was a colloquialism for “Here is a riddle [3].” For two millennia, man has tried to decipher the number 666. Therein lays the riddle, it means something else [4].

Other than the opening phrase, the two major words in Revelation 13:18 that might lead one to a different interpretation than intended is “count and number.” To condense this narrative, the word “count” in the Greek is Psephizo, which means to determine or decide. The word “number” in the Greek is the word arithmos [5], which reduces down to an “indefinite number” or is better translated as “multitude.”

SIX HUNDRED THREESCORE AND SIX

We have to remember that especially in this day and age when we see 666, we are seeing Arabic Numerals. However, God told John to write down what he saw [6]. Because 666 is a number and a name [7], John did not see the Arabic Numerals 666. What John saw was “Chi Xi Stigma,” which is Chi = 600, Xi = 60, Stigma = 6 [8]. What makes this such an incredible prophesy is that the word that “Chi Xi Stigma” spells, did not even exist in John’s day.

The characters “Chi Xi Stigma” are Arabic for “Bismallah,” which means “In the name of Allah.” You can Google these characters Online [9]. Now, let’s transpose Revelation 13:18 with our definitions and see if we can make it a little less cryptic.

v18 Here is a riddle. Let him that hath understanding determine the multitude of the beast: for it is a multitude of men; and his multitude is in the name of Allah [Revelation 13:18 translated from the KJV Bible].

Today, you’ll find the “Chi Xi Stigma” on all banners, arm bands, head bands, and flags in all of Islam. The characters Chi Xi Stigma look like the capital letters X E C with small curly tails. In addition, I might note that the character Stigma also has a literal meaning of scar, mark, or badge of service. The crossed swords (X) also represents Jihad and Islam.

CONCLUSION

The beast is Islam and the Bismallah is the mark. Muslims stylize the Bismallah so that we cannot recognize it. However, here is another link to see what I mean by stylize. Stylized Bismallah

Nonetheless, just to cover all bases, no verichip or R.F.I.D chips for me. However, it makes allot more sense to me that Matthew 24:21 is fulfilled much more dramatically with the beheading of men, women, and sadly that of children, rather than from just taking a R.F.I.D. chip. You will not know what I mean until you’ve seen the torso of a 10 year old child. Sadly, I have. No one likes to read this stuff, let alone see it, but until America (no, the world) pulls its head out of the sand, things will continue and escalate. I guarantee that fact. Terror groups are combining forces as we speak, because a Caliphate is their goal, and if I read my Bible correctly, they’ll succeed.

However, have no fear! At the end of the three and a half year tribulation, Christ returns. Are you ready? Is your lamp filled with oil? Do you anticipate His return? Are you preaching the Gospel to every living creature?

On the Cross, Jesus sacrificed Himself and did away with a limited mortal sense of man as just a lump of clay, and proving that man’s true life is spiritual and eternal, and made in the image of God [10]. Christ’s victory on the Cross is our victory, but only upon acceptance of Him. Halelujah!
